Ulster Medical Society

S ECOND M EETING 2011-12

The Ulster Medical Society was founded in 1862 by the amalgamation of the Belfast Medical Society and the Belfast Clinical and Pathological Society.

Personalised Medicine and Modern Pathology

We are a general medical society and applications for membership are welcomed from everyone eligible for registration under the Medical Acts. Please see the website for more details and an application form.

We hold a series of lectures from October to March in which distinguished speakers address the Society on topics which will be of interest to a general audience. These meetings are open to all registered medical practitioners.

Professor Manuel Salto-Tellez

MD FRCPath Chair of Molecular Pathology, Queen's University and Clinical Consultant Pathologist, BSHCT

The Ulster Medical Journal is peer-reviewed and is published three times a year. It is sent free to all members of the Society and is also available on subscription. The Editor is always pleased to receive offers of papers for publication.
