    Singin in the rain

    Singin the rain is a musical film, which was directed by Gene Kelly and Stanley Donen in 1952. It became one of the greates ever musicals and won many awards. By the title of the movie you can only guess that there is going to be someone singing in the rain, so here is the storyline. Singin in the rain is the film about love, dancing and singing. Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont are a famous onscreen romantic pair.But Lina mistakes the on-screen romance for real love. Don has worked hard to get where he is today, with his former partner Cosmo. When Don and Lina's latest film is transformed into a musical, Don has the perfect voice for the songs. But Lina - well, even with the best efforts of a diction coach, they still decide to dub over her voice. Kathy Selden is brought in and while she is working on the movie, Don falls in love with her. All the songs in this musical are connected to the stroyline of the film. So for example: All I do Is Dream Of You is sang by Don, after he first meets Kathy and cant stop thinking about her. The film has a happy end, and it was a good time watching it.
