Every Moment of Life is Valuable

The famous song ’’Love me now’’ presented by the most famous artists. The original

version of this song sung by John Legend. The cover of ’’Love me now’’ song presented by

Madilyn Bailey and Blake Rose. The both version of song have several similarities, they have

same meaning, same lyrics and vocal presentation. There are also some different sides. The

original version gives a more emotional appeal to the audience, no matter the age, leaving the

audience with a more emotional attachment to the characters in the video. The cover of ’’Love

me now’’ was sung more in a sorrowful tone.

The song “Love Me Now” was sung by American singer John Legend. The song was

released on October 7, 2016, by Good Music and Columbia Records. The song will provide as

the lead song on John's fifth studio album, Darkness, and Light. This song was developed by

Blake Mills and John Ray. On October 6, 2016, the singer uploaded his first music video, “Love

Me,” to his YouTube and Vevo accounts. The visual brings the audience to various parts of the

world, such as constant rock guarding in North Dakota, the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida,

Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic, the Domiz refugee camp in northern Iraq. In the video

we see pairs from several ethnic backgrounds representing their love to one another. In the

middle of the clip, the singer Legend, his wife, and their baby daughter also show their love and

are kissing and laughing at each other. It represents couples from various religions expressing

their love to each other. The main character of the original version of the song is John Legend

and his family. Legend shares his famous hit, ''Love me now'', backstage image with the

audience. The general meaning of this song is about recognizing the fact that nobody knows how

long they live or when they die, or what will happen tomorrow. Therefore the singer shares to his

audience that people should love and be loved today, and do not withhold your love from one

another and keep those you love close to you now. In his “Love Me Now” comment, John

Legend explains people to live happily and love and be loved no matter what happens tomorrow.

Legend sings such sentences in a song ’’I don't know who's gonna kiss you when I'm gone, So

I'm gonna love you now, like it's all I have.’’ John Legend sings about enjoying his current love

instead of thinking about how he’ll feel when it’s all over here. This video has a strong emotional

appeal as it adds background to the song.

The cover version of ’’Love me now’’ music was sung by Madilyn Bailey and Blake Rose on

October 21, 2016. There are two main characters, a male and a female. While there may be

significant differences in the methods of creating these videos, the messages are very similar.

Madilyn Bailey and Blake Rose’s version of this song opens with very dark images and sets a

dark tone that continues throughout the song when they try to set a painful tone. In this version,

pathos is used not only in images but also in saying certain words, especially in emphasizing

“Love me now.” They both are very clearly expressing the pain they feel in who they have

become. Unlike the Legend, Madilyn Bailey and Blake Rose use ethical rhetorical means to

appeal to the audience. Ethical appeal is a means of demonstrating the author’s credibility. It is a

means of convincing the audience of the author’s authority and authority. The qualities displayed

by Ariana and her magical vocal abilities leave a lasting impression on the audience that she

deserves to listen to. Also, its prestige and charm evoke a moral appeal to its listeners. Both

videos use appeals to emotions; however, the original has a stronger appeal than the cover. This

is because the original video shows real people and their real-life struggles with their problems.

In conclusion, the original video, directed by John Legend, gives its viewers a more emotional

song than the cover of Madilyn Bailey and Blake Rose, as the original video and the audience

created more opportunities to reflect strong images easily attached to the characters. The main

difference in each version is how they solidified the claims in the music. The only way Legend

could substantiate his claims was through a raw and emotional performance. Bailey and Rose

solidified their claim to music through theatrical performance. Each version uses pathos to

appeal to its audience because of the overwhelming portrayal of love and grief. Given the

performers and time differences in performances, it's easy to point out why viewers might be

slightly different.
