Food Thought Using Gastronomy as an Incentive to Learn

At this session, four AU professorsEvan Berry (CAS, Philosophy and Religion), Michael Keynes (CAS, Math), Simon Nicholson (SIS), and Katharina Vester (CAS, History)will discuss various aspects of making food part of their lesson plan, whether literally, e.g. by using candy to illustrate sampling theory, or thematically, by teaching food-related topics. Different from other Noontime Conversations, this will be a potluck lunch, so please bring your favorite food to share with other attendees.
