Camerons Talk

Abraham was a prophet that lived a long time ago. He was a good man that listened to Heavenly Father and Jesus and did what they asked. One day, Abraham was commanded to take his son Isaac to the top of the mountain and sacrifice him. Abraham did not want to kill his son Isaac. He loved Isaac and did not want to hurt him. But, he loved Heavenly Father and Jesus so much, he was willing to do whatever they asked him to do. Abraham took Isaac to the top of the mountain to sacrifice him. Before he hurt Isaac, an angel came and told him not to sacrifice Isaac. The angel told Abraham that Heavenly Father and Jesus were testing Abraham to see if he would be obedient. Abraham was obedient because he loved Heavenly Father and Jesus. Heavenly Father and Jesus have given us commandments. We are suppose to obey our parents, tell the truth, be kind, read our scriptures and go to church. When we do these things, we show Heavenly Father and Jesus that we love them. I am grateful for Abrahams example. I know that this is Heavenly Fathers and Jesus church here on the earth. I know that we will be happy if we are obedient. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
