SOL Community, Eco-Campus Foundation and Resurgence Trust can help show
how community can benefit from Transition Culture.
For centres that need to generate secure long-term revenues by engaging with
local students, professionals and their organisations we provide opportunity to
generate immediate income from membership services from delivery of language
learning, EFL services, courses, workshops and seminars.
These can be for subscribing members and run on a Dana basis. Alternatively, we
can conduct a needs-analysis of your requirements based on demand in your area
for services you can offer.
The SOL Community connection with Resurgence Trust and Schumacher College
means that we recommend subscription to Resurgence and provide offers of
interest to graduates of Schumacher.
Our work serves to introduce the works of Maurice
Ash, Satish Kumar, John Lane and others. In
particular we refer to Chapter Four of “Small is
Beautiful” by the economist E.F.Schumacher.
From this chapter on Right Livelihood a Buddhist
political ecology flows.
We welcome applications from Dharma
practitioners who want to teach, and see
resurgence for Buddhist values and Buddhist
insight as especially relevant in addressing the
needs for ethical consumers and 21st Century
lifestyle issues that affect People and Planet.
This option is for those who want to deliver local publishing for
local clients. You can offer this service in conjunction with
FreeFLOW Publishing, design and media services.
You can set up your own Social Enterprise and Right Livelihood
incubation and support service, either on an independent basis, or as a Co-
venture with Zen Cafes@ The Hub, supported by Resurgence Trust and The Hub@
Dartington, Totnes.
We welcome applications from those who share the principles and ethos of
Transition Culture, Slow Food and The Play Ethic. See: www.theplayethic.com.
Teacher training and workshops for parents and prospective parents can be set
up and run locally.
