Title :Mobile PEX service

Abstract(Introduction) : It is well known that mobile is the dominant device at the 21 century .So providing different services for all application areas through mobile device will help people very much especially for those who work in economic sector . PEX is one of the most important economic companies at Palestine. The investors spend hours sitting in front of their computers to follow the latest changes on the prices of the stocks , which restrict their freedom of moving from one place to another in order to stay connected to their wireless or wired connection to the internet . The basic idea presented in this project is to provide the investor with an easy-to-use mobile phonebased system, at low cost, to receive and to request daily key changes of trading in PEX, and to provide the mobile PEX service provider with a web-based interface on his/her computer to manage registration and payment of bills for the customer. The current mobile applications use different types of networks to be used anytime and anywhere. The traditional wireless communication technology used in several applications is the internet connectivity, but there is many drawbacks to use such kind of network to develop mobile PEX management system in our community because of the limited availability of mobile Internet connectivity and information access due to the current bandwidth limitations. Global System for Mobile ( GSM ) communication is the most convincing solution to network mobile connections in our case, because it's architecture has the ability of using SMS technology which is relatively inexpensive and is reliable for data transmissions

Requirements: The mobile application should allow the investor to: 1-receive changes on trading prices every 10 minutes . 2-send request for Trading summary which include(gainers, losers, Top 5 by volume, Top 5 by value, trading summary) or you can send any text message to PEX inquiring about anything you want. 3-draw line chart for AlQuds index and update chart information by sending request message to the server. 4-send customer required amount to be paid (Bill notification). 5-view PEX address and contact information such as: location, P.O.B, telephone, fax and e-mail. 6-FAQ(Frequently Asked Questions ) service which include question and their answers with voice (question/answer reader) record. 7-manage settings of mobile application like setting and changing password of the application .

Web application should allow (Mobile PEX service) provider to : 1-register new subscribers with his/her name, e-mail ,mobile phone number, address, subscription date, interested companies. 2-edit or delete subscribers. 3-view all subscribers. 4-pay system in order to produce bills for customers according to number of messages sent to customer. 5-view all sent /received messages to/from specific customer and reply to the customer. The SMS Gateway : consists of a GSM modem phone and an application with simple interface installed on the server computer. This application is responsible for receiving SMSs via GSM modem, processing and storing information included into the connected database to be viewed by provider web portal. The application will check every message arrives to the GSM modem in order to verify it's source number. If arrived message follows the application it will check the tag that the message starts with in order to analyze its contents and store them in database and reply with suitable answer for request. It also has continuous connection with internet in order to read latest changes on trading and update database of trading information then it continually check database for new reply messages and other information sent by web interface controller and reward those messages via GSM to the specific investor mobile application.
