-Project Description Interactive board consists of five main components two cameras, projector, computer, and white board. The two cameras will be installed on the board, one of them will be installed on the middle of the board width and the other on the middle of the height, these two cameras and the projector will be connected to the computer. There is a special application generated for this board will provide many features to help the instructor performing his work easily. For example, when the user put his finger on the board and move it, it will act as a pen to write, edit or delete. -Objectives Proposing some new features and techniques to the whiteboard. which add a new vision and quality to the educational process. Such features will make the instructors as well as the students to experience new level of both teaching and learning processes. (Such as providing the instructor with the ability to write and erase and move the written words every where using his finger as well as saving and printing it.) -Methodology The two main parts of this project are: 1- The two cameras are going to shoot the board, and transfer the images to be processed on the computer, then the program on the computer will set the two coordinates for the finger, while the finger is moving the computer program will update its coordinates with the new location (all these functions concerning the image processing will be done using Matlab program). 2- The new proposed applications will be done using Microsoft visual c++.
