How to reach R.V.

Bangalore, the Garden City of India is well connected by Air, Rail and Road. R.V.College of Engineering, which is next to the Bangalore University, is about 13 kms from the City Central Bus Station (Majestic) & Railway Station, on the Bangalore Mysore highway, towards Mysore. From Bangalore International Airport: Bangalore International Airport Ltd (BIAL) is about 30 kms from the Majestic. Besides taxis services, regular Volvo buses (operated by KSRTC) also ply between the Airport and Majestic. From Majestic, city service buses are available to travel to come to RVCE. From Bangalore City Railway Station: Bangalore city is well connected by trains from all the major cities of India. The trains arrive at either Bangalore City or Yeshwantapura Junction. From Bangalore City Railway Station: The city bus service, known as BMTC (or BTS), whos main terminal is right opposite to the city railway station. Please use the subway from outside the railway station to reach the BTS bus station. (The area that covers the railway station, bus station etc. is known as Majestic). From Yeshwantapura Jn: City buses are available from Yeshwanthpur Bus Station (walkable distance from Yeshwanthpur Railway Jn.). From there, you can catch bus No. 401M to reach Kengeri and from there, catch any bus coming towards Bangalore City to reach RVCE. By Bus: The City Bus Service Station is located just opposite to the KSRTC Bus stand,. You may take a Kengeri bound bus (nos.222A, 226A and 403A) from Platform no.19A to come to RVCE. Platform no.19A is closest to the railway station. Ask for a ticket to RV College Bus stop. This bus stop is just after the Jairamdas bus stop and just before the Kengeri bus terminus. The bus journey takes between 40-50 minutes. Other prominent location from where frequent buses are available to reach RVCE include City Market, Shivajinagar Bus Station, Banashankari, and Jayanagar 4th Block. From City Market (Victoria hospital) all buses towards Kengeri (except 223 & 230). From Shivajinagar Bus Station (Nos.222E).
