CLIENT: MARS Information Services (U.K) Company Brief: MARS is multinational group and is well known for chocolates (MARS, SNICKERS etc), foods, pet foods, like Pedigree etc. Designation: Module Lead Duration: April 2009 to till date Project: MARS-FDS (Factory Despatch System) Environment: Oracle 9i, PL/SQL, HP-UX, Complex Stored Procedures, triggers and packages , SQL Loader, Oracle Forms & Reports 6i, Toad. Location: Offshore Responsibilities: Understanding the process and Interacting with functional team to resolve the issues in the given objects. Creating procedure for updating the data from factory systems to FDS, through Oracle PL/SQL. Used Stored Procedures, Packages and Database Triggers extensively. Developed scripts for automation of various jobs running for the application server. Carry forward the CIPs for front end enhancement in Oracle Forms. Optimization of the query and performance tuning. Developed Reports for transmission of factory despatches to the market warehouse. Creating automated jobs to perform the task using Tivoli work Load Scheduler (TWS) 8.3. Creation of incidents using Magic Tool. (Magic 2.0).
