    Horizon School Division # 205 invites applications for the following

    Computer Technician
    This permanent position will commence as soon as possible and will be based out of Watrous Elementary Candidates should have: a strong knowledge of current computer hardware, operating systems and server systems (including, but not limited to Windows XP Pro, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003, Window Server 2008, Mac OS X). Experience with Apple computers configured in a dual boot environment and APPLE OSX server experience would be an asset. the knowledge and ability to perform hardware repair and maintenance, plus software trouble shooting. a willingness to upgrade in appropriate areas on an on-going basis. experience in network cabling the ability to work collaboratively as well as independently strong interpersonal skills a valid drivers license, and a reliable vehicle an acceptable criminal record check communication skills, both verbal and written

    The Horizon School Division consists of 43 schools. The Computer Technician will be a part of an I.T. team, and will be assigned an area of responsibility within Watrous and the surrounding area. Salary is as per the current CUPE Agreement.
