For the interior doors:


Humabilts high quality, sustainable interior doors, available in a variety of designs, sizes, wood species and glass panels, are composed of 85% waste wheat straw and free of synthetic formaldehyde. Their wide selection of finely-crafted, yet affordable, styles is available in both paint- and stain-grade doors. Humacore Doors are not 100% wheat. They are made by layering wood veneer over wheatboard cores. But wheat board, which is made by binding wheat chaff together with adhesive, is a nearideal material for a door; it's dimensionally stable and highly resistant to moisture, while also being lighter in weight than traditional wood composites like MDF or chipboard. Also, wheat chaff is considered industrial waste from the mass production of grain. It is typically burned.

For the exterior doors

Fiber Last- Perfect for new construction or remodeling projects, FiberLast's eco-friendly aspects introduce new achievements for fiberglass doors. For starters, the doors are Scientific Certification Systems (SCS)-certified to contain at least 35 percent pre-consumer recycled wood for the door slabs. In addition, the proprietary mix of recycled wood fibers and fiberglass combined with the engineered door construction adds strength and durability, which is important in sustainable architecture.
