BEAR CONSTRUCTION
1. Build the body section, feet section, and two arms by carefully following step 1 in
the Basic Box Instructions.
2. To widen mouth area: Before soldering body section, put 3/8" foil on top of the
narrower foil on both sides of the heavy mouth line that is shown on the pattern.
When soldering body section, flow solder entirely over this wider foil area.
3. Construct the box by following the Basic Box Instructions, steps 2 through 8.
4. Follow dotted line on side pattern piece (above) for position of arms. Solder to
sides of box wherever they cross a solder line. Clean.
5. If box will be used as a planter, seal interior solder lines with silicone sealer, follow-
ing instructions on the package.
6. If box will be used for storage, interior glass dividers can be made. (See page 2 of
instructions for Heart Box.)
