    Rick Riordan Summary: Chapter 1 The narrator warned the readers that if they feel that they are half blood, they should stop reading the book. He introduced himself as Percy Jackson. He is twelve years old and a boarding student in Yancy Academy, a school for troubled kids. He described his life as short and miserable. He began his story about his sixth-grade fieldtrip. He has always been kicked out from school because he gets in trouble whenever they are having fieldtrips. He mentioned the names Grover, Nancy Bobofit and Mr. Brunner who were his best friend, his kleptomaniac and irritating classmate and his favourite teacher, respectively.
