Pearl Studded Choker or Anklet

Pearl studded choker is a flattering item


to have in a jewelry wardrobe. Use one
spool gold or silver lame thread, 40
pearls size 8 and one number 3 steel
crochet hook.

Or, use a soft sportweight yarn and


large borehole pony beads as I did in
the photo. This is a great use for all
those small left over fabulously nice
textured yarns that we all have in our
craft supply collections. Use a D or E
hook.

Abbreviations:
ch (chain) sk (skip)
dc (double crochet) sp (space)

For a 2 wide Bead Choker


ch 12.

For a 4 wide Bead Choker


Ch 16

Row 1: Dc in 6th ch from hook, * ch 1, sk 1 ch, de in next ch, repeat


from * to end (4 sps, or 8 sps), ch 5, turn.

Row 2: De in next de, * slip 1 pearl down, ch 1, dc in next dc, repeat


from * once more (2 pearls), and ch 1 and dc in third ch of turning ch,
turn.

Row 3: Ch 5, dc in next dc, ch 1,


• dc in next dc, ch 1, repeat from
• end with dc in third ch of turning ch (4 sps or 8 sps).
Repeat rows 2 and 3 until there are 20 rows of pearls, if working in
lame with small steel hook, otherwise, work until desired length.

Ties: Join lame to center dc, ch 4. De in same st, * ch 4, turn, dc in


Give the wider choker a double tie, on both corners.
