In my opinion I think Pluto should be classified as a “dwarf planet” instead of

“dwarf” for multiple reasons.

The classification of a planet is that it must be orbiting a star, must not be in

the orbit track of another planet, is capable of clearing out its neighboring asteroids,
comets, and dusts, and must be larger than comets, and asteroids. Its mass must be
sufficient to make the planet a sphere like shape and must be able to reflect and see the
light of the star it is revolving.

Pluto matches all of those criteria except for the fact that it hasn’t been capable
of clearing out all the neighboring dust around it. The challenging part for me to argue
the fact that Pluto was classified as a dwarf rather than a planet is that Jupiter, Neptune
and Mars are in a similar situation to Pluto except that they are bigger so my argument
is that why do they turn a blind eye to Mars, Jupiter and Neptune, and not to Pluto?

Another reason why Pluto is not considered a planet is that there are many
other asteroids and such that are capable of being classified as a Planet and they do not
wish to do it. So instead of taking Pluto out as a planet they should just classify the
other objects as some type of “planet” too.

My conclusion to this is that Pluto meets the requirements of a planet today,

and deserves equality just like Mars, Neptune, and Jupiter and be classified as a planet,
and if the other objects that are similar to Pluto in the Kuiper Belt.
