ACI also offers a bandwidth enhancement service for your 6940 RF tray to take advantage of the main housing's full 1 GHz bandwidth, thereby further extending the lifetime of your 6940.

The ACION 3000 family of optical nodes shares common lineage with the S/A 6940 product line. In fact, the optical transmitters and receivers share a common form factor and are pin compatible with one another. So, when ACI introduced its latest version of the 3000 series - the ACION 3422 2x2 4 port segmentable node - we quickly found that we could leverage much of the technology used to split our 3000 series four port to split the 6940 as well. Today we offer an upgrade kit that takes the 1x4 6940 to a 2x2 forward and reverse segmentable node- ideal for significantly extending the life cycle of your deployed stations. All the features available in the 3422 optical node are now available for your 6940 deployments, including:
