Blood Typing and Donation

In the space provided, write down OR draw both the antigens (Ags) youd find on the RBCs and antibodies (Abs) in the plasma of an individual of that blood type. Then, list the potential donors. Recall that for a successful donation, donor RBCs must NOT be recognized as foreign by the recipients blood. *Remember to consider both the ABO blood groupings and the Rh factor (+/-). Antibodies against Rh protein are called anti-D Abs.

A- Type blood A-antigen expressed on RBC surface. Anti-B Abs & anti-D Abs present in plasma.
