PlantronicsPerSonoCallsoftwareprovidesthelinkbetweenyourBluetoothheadset andtheinternetcallingapplicationonyourcomputer.PerSonoCallsoftwareprovidesthe abilitytoremotelydetectandanswer/endacallfromyourinternetcallingapplicationvia theheadsetcallcontrolbutton.

1. WiththeCDinserted,gotothePerSonoCallmainscreenandclickonInstallthe PerSonoCallSoftware. 2. Yourinternetcallingmayrequireyoutochoosewhichaudiodeviceyouwishtouse. Pleaserefertointernetcallingapplicationdocumentationfordetails.

NOTE:TheheadsetandUSBBluetoothadapterarepairedtoeachotheratthefactory.However,
ifyouhavepurchasedaUSBBluetoothadapterseparately,orifyouwishtouseareplacement headsetwithyourexistingadapter,theunitsmustbepaired.

NOTE:WhentheUSBBluetoothadapterisinstalled,itbecomesthedefaultaudiodeviceinyour
computer.YoucansetpreferencesmanuallyintheWindowsoperatingsystemthroughthe SoundsandAudioDevicesoptionintheControlPanel.

Powerontheheadset.InserttheUSBBluetoothadapterintheUSBportofyourcomputer. 1. Putheadsetintopairingmode asdescribedinprevioussection. 2. Pinchthepairing/connectbutton foratleast2secondsuntiladapter flashesredandblueandbeginpairing withyourBluetoothheadset.

NOTE:OnceinstalledwerecommendthatyousetPerSonoCalltolaunchwhenevertheWindows
operatingsystemstarts.

Ifyourewearingtheheadset,youhearascendingtoneswhenthepowerturnsonand descendingtoneswhenthepowerturnsoff. Whenyoureceiveacall,yourphonemayringbeforeyourheadsetrings.Waituntilyou heartheringinyourheadsetbeforeyoupressthecallcontrolbuttontoanswerthe call. Forbestperformance,positionyourphoneonthesamesideofyourbodyasyour headset. Toquicklyre-connecttoyourrecentlyuseddevicethatiswithinrange,brieflypress thecallcontrolbutton. To make a call,simplydialthenumberviayourinternetcallingapplication. To answer or end a call,pressthecallcontrolbutton. WhenusingPerSonoCall,theradiolinkbetweentheheadsetandtheUSBBluetooth adapterwillonlybeactiveduringacall.Thisisthedefaultsettingintendedtopreservethe batterylifeoftheheadset.However,youmaywishtohavetheradiolinkactivewhennot onacallsoyoucanlistentootheraudiosources,suchasstreamingaudioonyourPC.
