You are required to apply the strategic Planning model to an organisation of your choice
and :
(Find strategic planning model - Select company - Do internal and external assessment)


1. Develop a mission Statement (SWOT Analysis)
2. Undertake an internal analysis of the organisation and an analysis of its external
environment; (PESTAL Analysis)
3. Set strategic Objectives;
4. Generate Strategies.

Please make sure 1500 words doesnot include cover page/ abstract/ table of contents/
list of references or appendices BUT would want you to included in the assignment as its
of importance aswell.


Note: You do not need to develop implementation processes but you shuld mention their
importance in the critical issue of implementing the strategies you come up with for this
assignment.

Important : The total number of words should be around 1400 -1500 words. This words
count does NOT include your cover page, an abstract, table of contents, list of references
or appendices. However, a reader should not have to look at an appendix to know about
hte main thrust of the points you are making in your assignment. So make sure all your
main points are in the body of your report and refer there to the appendices that will
support the points you are making in the body of your report, Because the reader may
not look at the appendices otherwise.
