Original Brief

My task is to create the opening two minutes of a film of our chosen genre which can be anything from a slasher horror to a romantic comedy style film. The genre I have decided to work with is the horror genre, Psychological horror to be specific. I have chosen this genre because I feel that if you use the right aspects that a psychological horror contains such as not seeing the antagonist directly or only noticing a ghost or villian using subtle details, it is a lot more scary and mysterious and will have a lot more of an emotional effect on the audience. I also feel that a Psychological horror would be harder to achieve a proffesional finish than a slasher horror or any other type of horror movie and I felt that persuing a challenge would motivate me to get the most out of writing the script, filming and the final editing.
