th , 2011 Reporting Officer: Bill Sharman Prepared By: Bill Sharman efendant: Bonquesha Jenkins Location: North Hollywood Race: Black Age: 22 Gender: Female Incident: The deIendant Bonquesha Jenkins became very disrespectIul when asked to speak with her. She called me names, including racist and a coward. There were numerous times when I requested that she calm down and she negated. Deta|| of Lvent Miss Jenkins was at an event that unfortunately had to be shut down because of noise violations. She remained on the scene of the party throwers home even after I made the clear statement that everyone goes home. I asked to speak with her, and then she became very disrespectful calling me names and spewing threats at me. The attitude and actions of the defendant was uncalled for and not tolerated. nt|ons 1aken I arrested the defendant and charged her with the intent to harm a police officer. She was placed in custody at 1.28 am on January 4 th , 2011 Summary In this police report, its a classic case of 'not enough information`. We dont know exactly what the defendant did, or if all the accusations are true. Were not even able to hear Bonqueshas side of the story. As we knew before from her Job Application, Bonquesha is a college grad in Harvard Law School. Why would a budding lawyer destroy her career and possibly her entire future over one night of fun? I dont exactly believe these accusations because fust because she is a Black Women, especially with a very stereotypical name, doesnt mean she wouldnt watch her actions. Racial issues dont fust come up in the media, they also surface in crime. Are many of the racial identifications used in many news stories and crimes really relevant? I believe crime should not have a color or gender, because the stereotypes arise and many innocent people are affected.
