RAPPELZ Halloween Event 2011 Go creative! gPotato Pumpkin contest!

Players... Younger or elder... Ladies or gentlemen... From big cities or villages... It does not matter! Players... Few of them are PvP fights lovers, Dungeons Siege monsters while others are rather calm and prefer to spend time in game talking with their friends, leveling and slaving bosses in friendly parties. So many different personalities... Players... They create the unique atmosphere, they create servers history, they create the game... Yes, definitely - there are so many different characters but with one common feature creativity. We do believe that players are the most important and that is why we are trying to do our best to brighten up their time in and out of the game. Wait. Out of the game? Well, yes. Here, at Gala Networks Europe, we focus not only on in game events and bonuses. We are trying to engage our players in many offline activities. Examples? Our Halloween event. Lets start from the beginning... New and scary land emerged from compression of magical powers during this years Halloween night. Brave adventurers were thrown to the unknown. They were fighting with ferocious beasts trying not to lose their hope. They wanted to find out the truth... But it wasnt easy...

One of the bravest warriors sent us a description of the most terrifying evening in his life. He logged into the Rappelz and found himself stuck in the middle of the marshlands without a flashlight or a lantern to guide his stumbling steps. Surrounded by hazardous dragons and poisonous snakes, plunged into deep darkness...

Even his looting pet was scared to death!

As it was Halloween time of vampires, witches, blood and terror

he recalled old legend that his godfather used to tell about man called Jack who liked to play tricks on people. After Jack died, he was not permitted into Heaven because of his evil ways. He was also denied access to Hell because he had tricked the Devil.

He was given one ember and sent to never-ending journey in the darkness between Heaven and Hell. Jack put the ember inside a hollowed-out pumpkin to keep it glowing.

The warrior was feeling like Jack at that time. Maybe even worse... Alone, in the middle of nowhere, without single ember... Warrior looked out and noticed a blinking light in the fog. - Is that you, Jack OLantern? - he said jovially. - Jack, jaaack, jaaaack... a voice whispered back. - Whos there? - Jack, jaaack, jaaaack... Warrior got up suddenly. Blinking light was coming closer and closer. Warrior could hear his heart beating. He held his breath and closed the eyes. He saw him dead...

Imagining what would happen wasnt the best idea...

Few seconds seemed like an eternity! Terrifying moment... He expected to see horrible face of someone who has chased away by Devil... Impossible? Well, there are no impossible things in magical world of Rappelz...

So what he saw? Are you ready? He saw a POTATO!

You think its funny? We are sure, it wasnt for our warrior... He vanished without trace after sending us this story... There are rumours that our warrior is wandering around Gaia lands with POTATOES in his hands and looking for Jack.

Only his journal scrolls have survived cragged with missing pieces of texts. The real story of Jack oLantern is safe for now and will wait in the privacy of our sweet Dublin office till the next year! Our players wanted to help us to find our hero. They claimed that they saw him. There are many different reports regarding his appearance but every single one is mentioning one common thing the POTATO! We have received lots of pictures of the mysterious POTATO... The legend is still alive and orbits around POTATOS... it says that Jack and our warrior are among us! TOGETHER!
