Blacks are deprived of opportunities Blacks do not have the freedom of speech Protest against their white counterparts The blacks are not allowed to do many things Or enjoy the privileges that the whites enjoy. V. The whites have many opportunities in life compared to the blacks. VI. The whites have control over their destiny. VII. racial discrimination is a festering wound in US society. VIII. The blacks have a belief for freedom and equality. IX. blacks are "caged" by their colour.

The free bird has the breeze to allow him to go far. The free bird has the power to go where he chooses to go. freedom is just a dead dream that might never be accomplished. The caged bird sings of freedom. The bird is trapped in his own cage.
