Evaluation Question 6 What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

Microsoft word and PowerPoint are two of the main tools I used for typing and presenting my work. I used this software to write up my work. The programs I used of Microsoft were mainly Word and PowerPoint. One problem I had with the Microsoft and PowerPoint was that it did keep freezing at times and this wasted time in writing up the work. What went well was typing up the work and the final look of the work; it made the work look professional and neat. I used Microsoft word to make the following documents: The influence of our film Analysis of a title sequence SWOT Letters for permission nd 2 draft of the script st 1 draft of the script News script Costume notes Final 2 minute outline Treatment 90 minute synopsis Two minute ] Planning Brief Genre research

Sliderocket is software on the internet that creates presentation either from uploading from PowerPoint or scratch. I used sliderocket because it shows that I have knowledge of other presentation software and make my blog more exciting and professional. The good things about sliderocket is that it made the blog look much more exciting, it was easy to use and it was also easy to upload onto the blog when the work was done. Some problems I faced with sliderocket was that once uploaded it would sometimes be very slow to start playing the presentation, it was not always reliable, by this I mean that it was very slow to get into at times, and on one of the presentations, the writing was upside down. All this said I would use sliderocket again for any presentations I wanted on my blog. I used sliderocket for the following task: The equipment list

YouTube is a place on the internet to upload and watch videos. I used this software to publish: final video preliminary task Title sequence of our movie. I also used it look at clips of other films and opening scenes, such as the secret window and the grudge scenes. One problem I did have was sometimes that the video was very slow to upload and wasted time in writing up my, other than that YouTube worked fine and would happily use it again for any another tasks

This is where all my work at the end of the planning and research I had 22 posts on the computer, with a range of different software on it. Using the blog tools, I posted camera persons journal, sounds person journal, shot type. At first when using the blog I found it difficult finding my way around the blog, trying to understand how the blog worked, but in the middle of the planning production I started to find using the blog much easier, one other problem I had was sometimes the computer would not let me on to the blog. What went well was that it the blog held all my work and it never deleted any work, it kept drafts and was a reliable place to store my work. My overall opinion is that the blog is a reliable place to up load and hold work and would use it again to do any projects.

I used scribd to upload my Microsoft word documents, and then uploaded it to my blog. Scribd is software that lets people publish they documents on the web and enables them to put a link to the blog so people can view it, it also gives the document a professional look too. The good things about scribd that it was easy to upload and easy to embed onto the blog. The whole process of putting the document onto the blog was easy and simple. Scribd was a reliable place to store my work to; it never deleted the work or lost it. It presented the work nicely and professional. The one problem I face was when I go onto my blog to look at my work, sometimes the link does not come up (but it does sometimes depend on the computer), but other than that scribd was easy to use and reliable. Overall though I would use this software again. The Mac laptop is the main piece of technology I used during the production, it is a laptop. The good things about the Mac are that it had a good battery life; it was a reliable computer to work on, in the sense that the laptop never lost my work or cut out on me. The problems I have had with the Macs was that I found it difficult to work, as the Mac is very different to a standard computer, in the sense that I spent a long time finding out where the applications where on the system. Out of all the technologies, I would prefer not to use this again, as although I can use the Mac at a novice level, I still find it a bit challenging when looking for applications and finding my way around the Mac system. The work I did on the Mac was all of my 22 posts.

Bubbl us is an online program that lets us make a professional looking brainstorms online. The good things about bubbl us was that it was easy to use and that it saved my files automatically. It was easy to sign up to and log in to. I found that using bubbl us was easy and I did not encounter any problems when using it. I would happily use this program again if I needed any brainstorms in the future. I used this program for: The brainstorm for initial ideas

Twitter is a social networking site; we used this to make the public aware of our film and to make an account. I only used it briefly, but found it straight forward to use and sign up to. I did not encounter any problems with using twitter. I would use it again happily.

Facebook is another social networking site that allows people to talk, and look at photos and making facebook groups. The coldblood productions made a facebook account to advertise the production team and make awareness of the film. I found using facebook easy and learned the format of Facebook, I found at times through that faceboook could be slow to load but other than that I would use Face book again

I went to the recording studio to record my news voice over in to a micro phone. I did the recording first but when it played back found that the voice did not suit, so I did it again and used another person and their voice, this time it was a success. The recording of the news script was easy, the whole process of recording it and applying it to the video. The only problem I had was when I had to do it ageing but other than that I did not have any other problems.

I was the camera- women and I used the camera and the tripod. The camera was used to capture the film and the tripod was used to support the camera and make the angles and different shot types. I picked up the camera skills quick enough to start filming the movie. I did not have any problems using the camera. Although using the tripod I had a bit of difficulty, as it kept falling over, but in the end I was able to use it. I would use the equipment again to film a movie again. Another piece of technology we used was digital videotape- this is what the film was recording on. It was easy to use, (put into the camera); I had no problems using this DT, and would use it again for filming. What went well was that the quality of the film was good and it recorded all the scenes we recorded. Overall the camera equipment was good and I would use it all good.
