Question
A and B entered into a partnership agreement to buy and sell tomatoes and A was entrusted with the operation of buying and selling. During a particular period, the price of tomatoes was continuously falling and A with a view of minimizing the loss entered into an arrangement with C where under both would buy and sell tomatoes on a joint account. Unfortunately for A, the price of tomatoes plummeted in the market still further. when the creditor moved against A,A sought to draw from the resource of his firm of A and B. But B refused to share the loss on ground that he had not authorized A to enter into a deal with C in this regard. Decide???

AnswerWhat I think Is that Bs decision is right as he was in a partnership with A only for a particular project between them for buying and selling tomatoes and not for A s any other project or agreement with any other party such as C Therefore B can share the loss with A only for the loss in their project and not with A s other deal or arrangement with any other party.
