Great Commandment: Corporate Climate for Growth

Ministry Bulls Eye: The church hits its sweet spot when leaders align their universal mission with unique vision and reaches growth potential. Universal Mission: Disciple Making Axis The bible gives us a predictable pattern of making disciples and starting churches. We dont create our mission, we obey it. 1. Pray: Acts 1:14. Luke 24: Go but Wait. Jesus: His Call, Disciples Call. Neh. 1. This produces white hot faith. 2. Win: Acts 2:41. Mt. 28-Go. Evangelism that wins the lost to membership. Always two sides to evangelism: Reaching & Keeping 3. Plant: Acts2: 41 (Baptized), Mt. 28:19. Acts 13-14- Win & Plant. 4. Build: Acts 2:42. Mt. 28:19-Teach to obey. Discipleship that builds believers to maturity. Transformation = me-we-them. Acts 5. 5. Equip: Acts 6:5. Training that equips workers for their gift based ministry (Eph. 4:11). 6. Develop: Acts 8:1-4. Apprenticeship that develops leaders for multiplication (II Tim. 2:2) 7. Release: Acts 13:2 Empowering disciples for their glocal life mission. (Acts 1:8) When we dont obey our Lords mission, the axis of Christianity shifts to the churches that do (Jerusalem to Antioch). Unique Vision: Growth & Reproduction Axis The vision arrow takes us from the present to the future. God creates each church in a unique fashion (I Cor. 12:11). He arranges the body as He wills. The POV (point of view), gift mix, core values, community context, and future dreams of each church are unique. Five Most Important Questions You Will Ever Ask About Your Organization Peter Drucker, the father of modern strategic planning boiled his consulting work down to five questions. 1. Mission: What business are you in? 2. Who is your customer? 3. Values: What does the customer value? 4. Metrics: What are your results? a. Vertical Line= Growth goals, b. Horizontal Line = Transformation goals. 5. What is our plan? By relentlessly asking these basic questions, leaders will gain Gods perspective to future dreams.
