Present Continuous

Subject + the Simple Present of the verb to be (am, is, are) + verb + - ing I am writing in this moment. He is speaking right now. We are reading now. Interrogative: Am I writing now? Is he speaking now? Are we reading now? Negative: Im not / am not writing now. He is not /isnt speaking now. We are not / arent reading now. Adverbs: NOW, IN THIS MOMENT, AT THE MOMENT, RIGHT NOW. Simple Present Subject + short infinitive +-s or es for the 3rd person singular I walk to school every day. He/she/it reads the newspaper every morning. Interrogative: Do you walk to school? Does he/she/it read the newspaper every morning? Negative: I/you/we/they dont / do not walk to school. He/she/it doesnt / does not read the newspaper. Adverbs: every day (morning, evening, year, month, etc), generally, sometimes, never, often, always, rarely, seldom, frequently, normally, usually etc.
