Mars'eulogy

I have written this philosophical text in honor of a person that I appreciate a lot. I learned to love this person through her musics and her films. She made me feel good when I listen to her, she made me cry and smile when I watch her on the screen. And whereas I was about to wait for two hours a train that I used to unfortunately miss, I got out of this cold and crowded station and sat down on the edge of The Seine to look at the tourists waving theirs hands frenetically to Parisian people. I began to listen to her songs on my Ipod and I thought at what I would say to her if I was led to meet her. I would probably jump on her and I would say her that she is the most beautiful and talented person in the world. That's at this moment that I wonder about the fundament of these remarks. Why could I say that this person is so talented ? What would I say to her and not to another ? And that's how I began to write for you Jared Leto, you who receive so many compliments and bracelets, you have now i your hands the worst present that can exist on earth ; a philosophical eulogy of you and your band written by a beginner with a bad English. That's why, trust me, read it if you are frankly bored, on the plane for instance, because otherwise I would be under the impression to have stolen you some precious minutes... Briefly, let's introduce the subject... A lots of rumors have became known about your music band lately and in this text you will find those twelve reasons for what stopping everything would be an enormous error. First, It would required for me to to see if the 30 seconds to mars' songs worth ( mritent) to be considered as artworks and as a result, a detour on the different art'theories could not be ignored. Then, in order to bring to perfection my eulogy, I tackled to the job to highlight the why Mr Jared Leto can be called as a full-fledged artiste and have at least his star graved on the Hollywood's ground. Even though it is not the case and if it won't happen, I really want to tell you, unless, that this star is graved in my heart.

To what could we recognize an artwork ?

In that, art cannot be linked to the routine, it must imperatively be conductive to the escapism . Art involve a detachment towards practical interests that guide our perception of the real as it was said by Bergson. After that, this does not mean that only art takes the place of the life, one the contrary, the art pushes with action, it does not completely seek to make us forget the cruelty of the world or transform the man with respect to the anxieties that make him worried if we take again the thesis of Aristote. Is an artwork what is done by oneself; then, it is clear that all what is produced by the hand of someone is not for all that art ! Because if it was the case, we could consider drawings of children as artworks. In fact, what is done by oneself should be done with a mix of pleasure and ambition. What search the artist is to share his point of view, his experiences, his feelings... The art invoke the detachment of the real, a certain immateriality of life Indeed, for Aristote, art can play a role of purification, of purging (of catharsis in old Greek) because being able to absorb energies of the individuals, art becomes a social instrument that makes possible to control people and to avoid the deviating behaviors. Thus the music could calm or irritate and prevent from the concrete realization of violence. Art could be the occasion of an elimination, a relieving of a disturbed heart which finds in the artistic spectacle, the occasion of to calm down by a kind of medication.It is true that art can change the behavior of the individuals but it will never, in any way, be a way out for the living beings. The music is not made for the refuge, it is used on the contrary to avoid it. Art wants that one finds the force to like this world, to accept the world such it is and food the life integrally. In other words l' art is hope. And very often, the songs of 30 seconds to Mars answer this requirement of the art as hope, that is the first reason for which 30 seconds to Mars is a group of quality.

2.Le personnel et le gnral ;

The original

4.L'volution comme rapport au monde ;

An artwork evolve, the Kandinsky philosopher said that it us as a child of its time. The art evolves/moves with the wire of time, it corresponds to human beings of one time and with their hopes. It is a moving matter; art, which obliges the artist to be called in question and to adapt its artistic requirements to the things of the contemporary world because if that is not the case, its art becomes obsolete. In fact, an artist must make evolve/move at the same time the formal one and at the same time the topic according to advanced of societies, that known as there are things unchangeable, topics which remain young but they have right need antiwrinkles and the artists must take into account current events to use them and point out certain bases and causes already defended by others. An artwork must even put the world in front of himself. It must describe to the man this what he is and like that, this one includes/understands what is wrong in the society, which does not go hand in hand with the bases he has established a long time ago. Certain songs of 30 seconds to Mars denounce religious abuses, they denounce the absence of freedom, the blindness of the ones, the power of the others For example in Kings and Queens, Jared Leto poses a reflexion on the destiny of

the human being who would destroy himself. Indeed, the worst enemy of the man is himself; he uses nature and prevents his descendants from living, he makes the war with his brothers This song shows at which point the man is lost and in vain tries to find a direction with his life; in that, 30 seconds to March sing artworks which answers the moralistic function of art while being in compliance with the social evolution

What is an artiste ?
Now that we can elevate the musics of 30 seconds to Mars at the Rank of masterpiece, it will not be disinteresting to see if its members act like truths artists. However for that, it will be necessary to work on the concept of the artist and this one were always more or less obscure. 1.La cration
For my part, I will say simply that the true artist would be the one who is able to create and by creating, I hear, taking out of the surface something deep. That comes from the tripe! They are words or representations that the artist would have found all at the bottom of his human being's heart. An artist listen to himself and create with the wire of its thoughts and its enthusiasm which grows progressively. Creation and pleasure are one because of art without pleasure is totally meaningless. It would be like eating a cake without being able to appreciate the taste of it. And like says it Frida, art cannot be compared with the work which exert a kind of moral and as well physical on the man, that being culturally acquired by the man. Inspiration

The inspiration plays a dominating role for the artist, it has a great role in the comprehension of the art, in particular while answering the questions like where does this idea come? Which was the base of art? Can any man create? As for me, I see in inspiration a digest of all that could struck the artist. He can s' d' acts; an experiment lived, sociological observations, dreams like thoughts, desires, repulsions, discoveries, meetings And once the person has all this matter, comes creation. The process of inspiration comes directly from the order of the reflexion, of a hard labour, everyone can have imagination and to make crazy dreams, the whole after is to put it in a material form and there is all the merit. A person who does not push deeper her faculties is not an artist, this one must at each moments, with each illuminations, seeking in the deepest of him, and trying to compose, developing a history then if possible solving it. The artist is a craftsman of the heart, he shakes it, turns over it according to his liking. 4.La passion :
What defines also an artist, it is its passion side. As Nietzsche could have said it , an artist is a permanent victim of tensions. It is the shape of investment of all our being; creation. There is no genius which exists on earth, there is just a difference between those who fight in order that their become reality and those who dream that the reality oneself as they would like it. Indeed, one could say that art must come from the perspiration of the man, this one was more or less invested in its work and to take again one of the most known thesis of Kant, the man to be an artist should not consider the art like a mean to reach the end which is success or money; The artist must be with the top of that and the end that he aims must be only the recognition. By recognition, I do not speak about present directed towards the artist, not of remuneration even if he needs certainly it to live, but affection and passion. The fact of wanting to move, to go to see an exposure or a concert a certain recognition of its talent. There is always a little curiosity but the majority of time, people know who they will see in concert and they know before going that; they will have good time there Also, the recognition appears by fidelity with the group. The spectator is satisfied with the performance of the artist and so much nothing has disappointed him, he remains to him indebted. And I believe well that each time 30stm plays, the stages are almost full, verdict?

5. le style
The artist is also the one who has the charisma, without that, he will not mark his public and will not stay very a long time famous. An artist is someone who has a manner of speaking, a way to express himself, gestural that is proper to him. We could even create, to enjoy ourselves, to create the seven deadly sins of the showbizz why not: perversity, cupidity, the superficial, pride, the lie, manipulations, publicity; After you will say that in certain case the sex or the superficial one was prone to a rather important valorization especially if one takes into account the popularity of the series like Sex and the city, Gossip girl or episodes of the TV-reality of the kind; the island of temptation, secret story, angels of the TV All the same, all these entertainments do not enter in the field of art, even if the play of the actors is almost the same one as the one of the actors of the cinema oscarized in Cannes. Why? I will briefly answer you: In fact the man has his bases'' a priori'' and rejects deviating behaviors thus systematically what is of deviating art, it regards it at the beginning as false art, that is to be said the commercial one. To return from there to the artist, this one must be a natural man to be liked. Constantly natural, it can

Indeed, with the cinema, the media, certain people forget what they really want, they lose part of their personality for finally to integrate themselves in the mass. It is because my friends love 30 seconds to Mars that I like also this group While speaking about that, Jared Leto has perfectly achieves all that I've said previously, which makes of him a being out of the common. I won't go back on the details but, Jared is known to wear strange clothing and to have a style particularly surprising (varnishes with the nails, skirts, trousers so tight that one tends to see nearly all, haircut which changes each month), then, he has his gestural (the movement of language, large eyes and eyebrows wrinkled during the interviews, which gives him a dimension of seducer), his behavior (at the same time detached and interested in certain moments, an air a little Junkie) as well as most important his philosophy of life: with his ideal of life, this man revealed a philosophical part of his being. 6.Le lien avec le public :

It was seen before that an artist must be passionate and it is now the time to specify this. In fact, an artist must certainly liking what he does but he must in addition to that liking to share it with the others, therefore to appreciate the contact with his audience. A true artist should not scorn or treat people who are listening to him of '' cave'' as certain musicians of jazz often do...The good, the truth artist must shown excitation in front of the spectators, he has to prove that he is not there on scene because he was forced to, or because of money even if he has to earn his living he has to prove that is here by himself and that this moment there, he has waited it as a kid who would await to open its Christmas presents under the tree, even if that must be the 10000 concerts that he could have made. The artist must be present, accessible, voluntary and moved by all these grateful people. Thus, for that, the artist should approach the public and to have a physical contact with this one. The phenomenon of the connection is also observed in the concept of the touched, capacity touched l' artist, it is a happiness, a step towards intimacy, it is to acquire the certainty that this person is like us, that he is not a foreigner but well a brother of blood. 8.Les imperfections ;
Like any human being, an artist is not perfect. He has

his small defects, his weaknesses and that is precisely why he is such an attracting person. A person who hides or who ignore of her Achilles' heel, is loose and refuses honesty. An artist who refuses to recognize a problem which comes from himself, amounts posing barriers between him and his admirers, but it is exactly that consequence that he must avoid.
