    Chemotherapy can cause common side effects like fatigue, nausea, vomiting, hair loss, anemia, infections, blood clotting problems, mouth and throat issues, diarrhea, constipation, nerve and muscle effects, skin and nail changes, and flu-like symptoms. Handling cytotoxic chemotherapy drugs also poses hazards to nurses and can potentially lead to abortion, infertility, premature labor, soft tissue injuries, developmental issues in children, kidney damage, hearing loss, and severe nausea or vomiting.

    Abortion Infertility and sub-fertility Premature labor Soft tissue injuries due to spill and splash Developmental and behavioral abnormalities among the children of nurses Kidney damage - sometimes just one dose is enough to create this side effect Deafness; impaired hearing Extreme nausea or vomiting (Liver damage).
