    Aaron Ivy Craft Pottery and Design 1st Hour

    Paper Mache Vessel, Medium Size, Paper Mache

    I created this project to introduce myself to Paper Mache I started on my vessel by gluing on a primer on to my collage of newspaper with my binder of wheat paste I used a balloon under the vessel as an armature to help support my vessel in its early state I then glued a styrofoam bowl to the bottom of my vessel to act as a foot. I then made the lip of my vessel with heavy construction paper

    Some problems I encountered during this project were while painting I was wanting to paint my vessel with complimentary colors and ended up paining it with a monochromatic color scheme. If I could change something in my project I would probably go back and paint my vessel with analogous colors.
