    Press and hold the mode button on the front of the switch 3. Reconnect the switch to the power supply 4. When the SYST LED blinks amber and then turns solid green, release the mode button 5. Issue the following commands: a. switch: flash_init b. switch: load-helper (on the2960 switch in the lab this is an unrecognized command) c. switch: dir flash: d. switch: rename flash:config.text flash:config.old e. switch:boot f.
