Is Jesus Christ Really God?

This comparative study is designed to remove the prevailing confusion regarding the Godhead and to allow the reader to determine for himself if Jesus Christ is the True and Living God, if Jesus Christ is the Supreme Being and if Jesus Christ is co-eternal and co-equal with God the Father. The titles of The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, King of kings and Lord of lords are temporary titles assigned to Jesus Christ for the duration of his Millennial Reign (Rev. 20:4). During this period of one thousand years, the Father will place the government upon his shoulder (Isa. 9:6). At the end of Jesus reign, he will no longer be called by these titles because he will be required to relinquish governance of the kingdom with all rule, authority and power to the Father. Like the rest of us, Jesus too will become subject to the Father and God the Father alone will reign supreme forever and ever (1 Cor.15: 24-28). The title of Lord is not exclusive to the Father and the Son. Neither does it indicate that Jesus Christ is God nor equal to the Father. It is a title which is also used of human beings and may be applied to righteous or unrighteous persons (Judges 16:18, 23; 1 Pet. 3:6). Some persons believe that Jesus Christ is the Creator but this is not so. It is God the Father alone Who is the Creator but He created all things through His Son, the Word (Heb.1:2; John 1:3 NKJV). If Jesus is the Creator, why is he our brother and not our Father as God the Father is? If Jesus is the Creator, why are all his possessions, gifts from his Father? Why does he not create the things he desires? (Matt.11:27; John 17:6-7). Finally, how can Jesus be the Creator, be Self-existent, be Self-sufficient, be God or be equal to the Father when he is not the Source of life (life did not originate with him), and even admits that he does not possess the power or the ability to keep himself alive? (John 6:57; 2 Cor.13:4). Think about it very seriously! Is Jesus Christ really God sharing equality with the Father? FOLLOW THE EVIDENCE AND JUDGE FOR YOURSELF!
