We attracted our target audience by setting our media product in a familiar setting therefore making it easier for the

15+ age range to relate. This also enhances the sense of realism that we were aiming for in our media product.

Our main protagonist who is a middle aged woman who seems to be very vulnerable and innocent. The main male lead is an anonymous man who the audience see as a violent vile mysterious character. The audience does no align themselves with this character as they fell he is abusing this helpless woman for no doing of her own. The audience then align themselves with the female character as they sympathise with her. They do this as they see her as weak and vulnerable and in a state of grief for her lost child. The audience, at this point in the narrative, see the mother as the innocent bystander who has been victimised by this hooded character. This entices our target audience as it is the state of intrigue that draws them in.

The variation in our shots throughout our media product include shots such as; high angle, point of view profile, establishing, medium and long shots. The way we edited these shots were key. We quick cut shots in order to build tension. This was done to entice the audience into the coming action. The intense mood created was further deepened as it was accompanied with the non-diegetic sound. This created an extra sense of eeriness in the title sequence. This further attracted the audience as it creates and remaining edge of seat tension.

Our media products key prop was the box itself. This was because it contained the copious amounts of blood which the mother later cradles in her hands as th realisation of the contents of the box has dawned onto the mother. Nevertheless this information is not yet shared with the audience, this attracts there attentions and suspicions as they become more involved in the film grasping for answers. It begs the questions of who, what, when, where, why and how this box was brought to this woman.
