6. State 5 facts about the British Crime Survey.


a. Overall, there were an estimated 9.6 million crimes as measured by the BCS in 2010/11

b. There were 4.2 million crimes recorded by the police in 2010/11, a four per cent decrease c. compared with 2009/10 (4.3 million crimes)

d. The 2010/11 BCS shows a 14 per cent increase in domestic burglary compared with the previous survey.
