Felleher Corrie presented the Treasurer s Report: Our Savings account holds $977.19, and our savings account holds $3,066.23. Our pending withdraws include $2,160 to City Brew for the Coffee Fundraiser, $60 to Board members for IRA refunds, and $7.49 to Corrie for cups she purchased to serve/sample coffee at the Reading Conference. The coffee was successful at the Reading Conference. We sold 17 Bold and 25 Medium (for $420). We also sold 13 former MERC/MSRC shirts. The following events were discussed and will be added to our facebook page: Jan Brett is coming to Barnes and Noble on Nov. 17th, Christopher Paolini will be Grand Marshall of the Holiday Parade on Nov. 25th. Dec. 1st is Book It With a Buddy, hosted by Janelle and Ruth. The book is Sounder. Joanne has asked to step down from her Secretarial position due to health concerns. The MERC Board will contact MSRC to look into how to find a replacement. The Board began discussions for the Young Author s Conference this spring. We will begin talks with MSU-B and other companies/people to find a good location and good time.
