    Mohamad Azri bin Mohamad Kalam is completing his Engineering Industrial Training (EIT) at Telekom Malaysia Berhad. During the third week of his placement, he was assigned to the Main Distribution Frame (MDF) Unit under the supervision of Mr. Shahril bin Jailani.     REPORT FOR WEEK BEGIN: 9 May 2011 Until 13 May 2011

    A. TASKS ASSIGNED FOR ONE(1) WEEK AND PROGRESS On the third week, Ive been attached to MDF (Main Distribution Frame) Unit under supervision of Mr Shahril bin Jailani. He is then ask Haji Saadon to taught me briefly on the some minor work in MDF. Haji Saadon taught me on how to read the bar and pair number on the customers paper order. The other staff, Mr Azim showed me four different types of puncher that been used to punch the jumper at the vertical and horizontal bar on the MDF.

    VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL BAR

    PUNCHER

    Mr Azim also taught me on how to read the numbers on the horizontal bar : It involves : i. ii. iii. Read the bars number from the customers paper order. Refer the number at the Fetex Cable Allocation Book We will get the horizontal bars coding number.
