4. Make 'ttf' directory as font directory and add it
# ttmkfdir > fonts.scale # mkfontdir
5. logout and login again. open office writer or calc, change the font to 'Rupee_Foradian' and then press '~ ' key separately. Don't use any combination keys like 'SHIFT+~', 'CTL+~' or 'ALT+~' You can see the rupee symbol as below.
