RULES AND POLICIES

To enter the competition, each contestant must consent to follow these rules: Registration Each contestant must submit a B-Plan before the Registration Deadline, in order to be considered for the competition. Deadlines Submission of plan date: 2nd January 2012 Notification Date: 5 January 2012

GENESIS: PRELIMINARY ROUND

Prepare a business plan CONSTRAINTS: Land Area: 4000 square feet (built) Area Cost : Rs 1500 per square feet(Estimated price) Capital provided : 75 lakhs 1 crore(Through Venture Capitalist) (Venture Capitalist requires a return rate of 8% of his capital invested) Area characteristics (15 km radius): 1. It is basically an industrial area, with corporate offices, MNCs etc. 2. There are a few restaurants. 3. There are 7 different residential apartments, with approx 150-200 residents each. 4. There is one multispecialty hospital and three clinics.

To be eligible for consideration, each contestant must submit a business plan that includes at least the following elements Business Plan should follow all the above mentioned constraints Executive Summary Company Overview Technology used Marketing strategies and analysis -channels and advertising Financial projections Theme should be eco-friendly/green business

NOTE
All the participants have to mention the overall allocation of capital and work force at the various field forming a concrete organisation structure. All these assumption and plan must be submitted in a power point presentation of not more than 20 slides with detailed analysis. A PDF document with all the details of the plan and the executive summary should also be attached with it, which should not exceed 20 pages. All plans should have the cover page with : Name of Business and Name of Participant The B-Plan should be mailed to
