Loyola's music program offers three types of piano instruction: a 3-credit hour piano class for those with elementary music skills; enroll on LOCUS for Class Piano for Beginners (MUSC 102) 1-credit hour small group instruction where 3-4 students of late-elementary to intermediate skill level meet together for an hour per week for a total of 12 hours in the semester, as well as studio class, performance class and the end of semester jury. 1-credit hour individual instruction for students with late-intermediate or advanced skills, meeting one-on-one with the instructor for 30 minutes per week, 12 times throughout the semester, as well as studio class, performance class and the end of semester jury.
