RFT does not support Descriptive Programming approach RFT users need good experience of programming to achieve the objective. RFT does not support custom objects. Learning RFT needs a bit of expertise compared to QTP. Test Script execution is Slow as compare to QTP Output values have to be manually entered in RFT multiple select feature using shift keys did not work What HP QTP has QTP uses VBscript QTP is quite easy to learn in a short time. QTP supports Descriptive Programming approach QTP users can generate the script documentation automatically for every action performed in the keyword view. QTP supports for all types of objects, including custom objects. QTP being GUI based is quite easy to learn in a short time. Test Script execution is very fast in QTP Output values are generated automatically in QTP multiple select feature using shift keys did works fine
