The Evaluation
This is your chance to explain to the person marking your film exactly what you were trying to achieve. TIPS:
1. Try and sell your ideas (be positive and excited about what you were
doing, explain why you used this particular camera shot or music soundtrack, what effect did you achieve?)

2. But also be critical (come up with some not so good parts and say how
you could improve your film).

3. This is an individual task and should be at least 2 sides of A4! Checklist:


INTRO 1. Introduced your video. What was the brief ? 2. What was your role in the production process? What jobs did you do ? 3. What kinds of background work had you done in your lessons at school ?

MAIN BIT 4. What do you know about your music genre? What conventions did you decide to include in your production? 5. What videos or scenes from music videos have influenced yours? 6. The pre production process? How did you help design and plan your video 7. The production? How did filming go? 8. How could you have improved the way your group worked or any problems you faced during the shoot? 9. Editing and post production: What kind of problems did you face?

CONCLUSION 10. Where would you show and exhibit your music video? How could your audience get hold of it now that it is finished? 11. What moral and ethical guidelines did you have to take into consideration when making this ? how have you made this video suitable for you audience?

12. Give an overall summary of your music video and how well you think your group has done (be honest!) 13. What is your favourite shot or sequence from your video? And why ? 14. Did you try and break any music video conventions or genres in any way? 15. How did you represent social groups ?What about the main artist? How were they represented? 16. Who was your target audience, and do you think your film was successful in reaching them? 17. Finally, what are the main lessons you will take away for any future film making projects?
