Comment to Isabels Observation Ruissalo Island

I would start saying that I found very interesting the way Isabel defined civilization and natures. First, she used her own definition; second, she didnt give just one definition of these words; otherwise, she defined different grades of civilization and nature. That allows to the person who read her paper realized that the difference between nature and civilization is just a matter of grades. I also like that she started her description mentioned that a good example of civilization we just could find it in the bus. Peoples behavior in the bus could tell us a lot what does mean civilization in Finland.

But sometimes it was a bit difficult to follow the three different levels of civilization and the two levels of nature. It was like you have to imagine a line that starts with nature (first level) and end in civilization (the first level: civilization in the city).

It would be nice if she represent that in line, it wouldnt be necessary to draw one, but

The jungle could be nature??? In my point of view, I would say that we identify nature with no traces of human presence, it could be rules, structures, constructions. What is nature???
