Throughout all three products we have carried across the same tag line of Its not always perfect in paradise. On the poster it is a prominent tagline at the top, on the magazine it is the main cover line and in the trailer we have used a voice over of it. We felt that this would bring all three products together and show that they are all linked and about the same thing. We wanted potential viewers to be able to have something to identify with the three products and entice them into watching the soap. It also sends across the message of the theme of the soap opera and what we want to show, that the lives of the upper class isnt always as it seems. So, it also gives the audience a brief insight into what type of storylines they can expect to view.

The images used for both the magazine and poster correspond with the actors in the trailer. We decided to make them the same as, the viewers would only have seen the characters once in the trailer so, we wanted to make them easily distinguishable. The poster image is the same as the final shot in the trailer and we decided to use this so that there would be a clear establishment between the products.

You can see from the three products we have created that the title of the soap opera has been made extremely prominent on all the products. We have used this to link the items together. By making the soap name prominent on all of the products they have been made easily distinguishable and the viewer would be able to establish that the products are about the new soap straight away. The same font has been used on the poster and the final shot of the trailer to make this link stronger however, we changed this for the magazine to meet the conventions of one, and the font wouldnt have been bold enough.

We have linked the magazine largely with the trailer and the poster. The images and corresponding cover lines reflect the characters story lines within these products. By doing this we have allowed the magazine to intrigue the viewers by setting the story lines out straight in a way that the other two products havent. So, each of the three products can be seen as developments of each other and with each one you gain more knowledge about the soap opera.
