At the top of the magazine will be the dateline and this will inform the reader about the

issue of the magazine and how long it is on sale for. Here is the masthead of our magazine. It will be coloured red so that it will stand out on the shelf and the television will be black. We would like this to be a quirky symbol to recognise the magazine by. Barcode

The price will be in the corner of the magazine and it will be highlighted by a star shape.

Across the top of the magazine we will have another cover line and this will inform the reader that this is a special of the magazine that will be all about t5he new soap.

Down the left hand side of the magazine we will include a strip and this will include both images and advertisement. As, it is positioned in the left third this is the part which will stand out on the shelf and attract the potential readers/viewers.

Here will be our main cover line. We will be using hyperperbolic words to entice the reader. As, we are going to include multiple storylines , we are going to have a general cover line and then include smaller taglines which will correspond with the multiple storylines around it.

NEW SOAP! NEW SOAP! NEW SOAP! At the bottom of the magazine we are going to have a banner saying NEW SOAP this will make the magazine stand out and reinforce how it is about a new soap opera.
