    Jesus Blesses the Children

    Imagine with your child that he or she was one of the children in the story with Jesus. Talk about what it would have felt like for your child to have the disciples tell him or her to go away from Jesus. Then ask your child, What would it have felt like to have Jesus put his arms around you and bless you? Remind your child Jesus is always with us and wants to bless us at all times. Say a prayer of blessing for your child. Thank God for Jesus who loves all children.

    The children loved to spend time with Jesus, but the disciples didnt want them to. They said, Stop bothering Jesus. He is too busy to spend time with you. Jesus told the disciples, Let the children come to me. Do not keep them away. You must become like these little children if you want to enter Gods kingdom. Then Jesus blessed the children. Mark 10:13-16
