In this lesson, I will…
* know that In can learn from Jesus, the best teacher .
* ask Jesus to be my teacher for life
Jesus loves people. And because Jesus loved everyone so much,
He wanted them to learn about His Father, God. So Jesus taught them to
be happy. Jesus taught them what they should do to have a good life.
Jesus taught them to do what was right. Jesus taught that the
should help others and told them about God’s love, too. Jesus taught
people how to pray. He taught the people what was important. ‘It is
more important to obey God rather than to have a great riches on
earth”, He said. Jesus taught people that God took care of all their
needs. Jesus said, “If God feeds the tiny birds and dresses the flowers,
He can do more for you”. People loved to listen to Jesus’ teaching. Jesus
told them stories about things people could understand, stories about
farmers, and stories about families. Jesus’ stories helped the people
understand some of the hard lessons Jesus had to teach them. Jesus was
a good teacher. He cared about everyone and wanted them to learn to
know God. Jesus wants you to learn and know God more.
LESSON 6
JESUS IS MY SAVIOR
• Key verse:
John 3:16a
God loved the people of this world so much that He gave His only
Son.
Objective
In this lesson, I will….
* learn that Jesus loves me.
* believe that Jesus is my Savior.
God loves you very much. He knows your name. He even knows how
many hairs are on your head. You are so important to Him that He is
willing to give you even His Beloved Son, Jesus, to save you!
God loves you so much that He wants you to live with Him in
heaven forever. But God cannot let anyone who does bad things into
heaven. Everybody does bad things. We all do, everyone in the whole
world does. So how can you live in heaven? God had plan so you could
live in heaven with Him.
He sent His Son Jesus from heaven to live here on earth. Jesus
died on a cross for your sins so you would not have to 0be punished.
Because Jesus died fro your sins, you can ask God to forgive you for the
bad things you’ve done, and He will. But Jesus did not stay dead. Jesus
was God’s Son! After Jesus friends buried Him in a tomb, Jesus rose from
the dead. He is alive today, living in heaven with God, His Father. If you
ask God to forgive your sins, you can live in heaven with Him someday,
too. God is good that He thought of a way for us to live in heaven with
Him.
LESSON 7
JESUS IS COMING BACK
• MEMORY VERSE :
I will come back and take you with Me. Then we will be together
John 14:3
Objective
In this lesson, I will….
* learn that Jesus loves me.
* believe that Jesus is my Savior.
One day before Jesus went back to heaven, He was
talking to His friends. Jesus wanted to tell them about the future. This is
what He said. “Do not worry or be afraid . Trust God and trust me, too.
In heaven where my Father lives, there are many rooms.
I would not tell this to you if it were not true. Soon I am
going to heaven to get a place ready for you to live in. I will prepare it
just for you.” Jesus also said , “But if I leave and go back to heaven,
believe Me when I say that I will come back to get you and take you with
me so that you can live in heaven, too.” Jesus’ friends did not
understand everything Jesus and get them, He would do it. Jesus’ were
happy that Jesus wanted them to live with Him in heaven.
