Introduction
y Segmental duplications (SDs) are low copy

repeats (LCRs)

y SDs play a role in creating new primate genes as

reflected in human genetic variation.

Objectives
Identifying the evolution of miRNA genes and changes

in expression patterns.
Creation of Database for microRNA for Humans,

mouse and Rhesus.

Development of Visualization interaction for miRNA

and target gene interaction.

Databases
y miRBase y microRNA y HMDD y mirTarBase

Work and technology:

Designing a database for the experimental results Developing GUI- network interaction visualizaton module
Programming: Java, JSP Database: MySQL Front end: HTML

CONCLUSION

Extent and type of sequence variations of miRNAs present in human are altering the predicted secondary miRNA structure but they are unlikely to affect miRNA processing. This database gives the relation between the miRNA and the target gene along with the visualization.
