Housing in Galgal
Most houses are made out of sticks or rock and held together with mud
or cement. Tin is used for the roof but it is expensive. A thatch roof is
very common in our area. Houses are not used like we use them. They
are used for sleeping and for keeping out of the rain. The

Momma Cajuste and

baby Tamarah
No matter where you grew
up we all knew someone
like Momma Cajuste. She
is everyones 2nd momma.
She volunteers to cook the
school food and all the
kids seem to adore her.
Tamarah is her youngest
of 9 children. Her home is
in the background and we
would like to build them a
new home for $6000.
