REQUEST FOR
SUBPOENA AD TESTIFICANDUM
In relation to the instant impeachment proceedings, The HOUSE
OF REPRESENTATIVES, through its PROSECUTORS, respectfully
requests for the issuance of a subpoena ad testificandum requiring
CHRISTOPHER S. DOLLENTE or the process server of the Supreme
Court who served on November 15, 2011 the Supreme Court En
Banc's Resolution and Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) both
dated 15 November 2011 upon Secretary Leila de Lima and Chief
State Counsel Ricardo V. Paras III in the case of Gloria Macapagal-
Arroyo v. Han. Leila M. De Lima in G.R. No. 199034 and in the case of
Jose Miguel T. Arroyo v. Sec. Leila M. De Lima in G.R. No. 199046
(Resolution and TRO), with office address at PADRE FAURA STREET,
MANILA to testify at the hearings in the impeachment trial against
Chief Justice Renato C. Corona on 20 February 2012 at 10:00 a.m. or
on such date and time as may be determined by the Honorable
Impeachment Tribunal at the Senate Secretary, Senate of the
Philippines, Pasay City.
The subpoena is requested to prove, among others: (1) The
person being subpoenaed or the Supreme Court process server went
to the Department of Justice in Padre Faura, Manila to serve the
Supreme Court's En Banc Resolution and TRO both dated 15
November 2011 upon Secretary Leila de Lima and Chief State
Counsel Ricardo V. Paras III; (2) That there was an attempt to serve
upon Secretary de Lima and Chief State Counsel Paras III the En Banc
Resolution and TRO dated 15 November 2011 on 15 November 2011
in the evening after office hours; and other matters relevant to the
instant case.
